NULLThe Road From Logic Gates to Perceptron to Mind Uploading Preface Ever since seeing the famous Hubble deep field picture released from NASA, I got this habit that every time I stare at the night sky, I sink into dreaming that one day mankind will no longer be such a shame species that endlessly fighting each others to death only for the sake of a small piece of resource. We do realized that we are in a 46 billion light year universe across, with billions of galaxies that will never lack of any resource. According to the Drake equation, every tiny little bit of the sky we see, will contain more than hundreds of galaxies just like our milky way. and each of them will have more than 10 civilizations which at least as advance as mankind. And the sad thing is, us human don’t even have enough life span to launch interstellar traveling. We will be dead in our space ships before leave our solar system because of aging. We are stuck at this solar system. The only thing we have is this full colonized blue planet earth, which has only limited resource. Wars, conflicts and shortages breaks out everywhere in the exchange of our lives, and we can only hope that one day we can develop a way to get infinite resource. I look everywhere for such hope: fusion power, global government, Mars colonization, water purify projects, faster than light traveling hyposises, etc. But none of this is proven with current theories that will work. Until one day, I looked into this thing called Artifactial Intelligent, which said to be able to produce human intelligence that can keep running thousands of years, which said to be able to contain human consciousness reguardless biological aging, and which said to be able to enable mind uploading ultimately and when that day so called singularity comes, nobody will die, and our dream to be sky walkers comes true. more>> google's second lifejust tried google's lively.com. It is a second life-like virtual world platform. It surely looks better than second life, but the customer-build object ability is almost none.
However, for a chating platform, this thing is powerful enough: it got youtube intergration, user room customization, and whole bunch of fun objects for you to decorate the rooms.

ZD & anit-cnn 运动我们是一个13亿人口的国家。一个政策,哪怕它造福了99%的国民而只损害了1%的人的利益,也会有1300万的人对它不满。
对于ZD,我没亲眼见到过,也没亲自去过西藏,所以没资格评论;但如果旧西藏就是美国南北战争前的南部的话,那么ZD和Ku Klux Klan又有什么不一样?
对于西方媒体,辱华现象其实是一种传统,如果你在国内取笑过民工农民兄弟,例如我,那你就别装出一副受害者的模样;
对于西方群众,就我眼见的来说,却能在西方媒体的扭曲下仍然对中国人保持高度的礼貌,我不得不佩服--当然了,如果你遇到伸中指的,扔鸡蛋吧,遇到要打架的,开车撞他吧,绝对支持,不过时速不要超过40,毕竟人命还是挺贵的你买不起。
对于留学生和海外华人,爱国,游行和向世界宣传中国好的一面,我支持,这对中国人,外国人,在国内的国人都是好事;
对于国内的广大群众,支持国货,爱国,我也支持,民族企业需要国民的培养;
我不赞同的是对西方人民极端化的Generalization. 有人喊"杀光法国猪"的时候,我只能将他们和国外那些只会喊"all chins go to hell"的小屁孩归为一类--他们立场不同,本质却一样;
我也不赞同国内大规模的群众性的上街游行示威以及阻碍外国商铺营业的行为。买什么是人们的自由,横加阻碍只能证明自己的无知和低素质。最主要的是,用无理的行为来反抗西方媒体的无理,用民族主义的行为来对抗西方的民族主义? 退一步,从狭隘的民族利益来说,这些游行增加西方民众对中国的仇恨,劳民伤财,消耗警力,对中国来说有害无利;从大是大非上来说,更让旁观者产生一种观看“刁民与刁民之间的闹剧”的感觉。
我认为有能力有条件有效果宣传中国的真实现状的人,请努力组织活动,让自己成为世界的焦点,不过请不要撒谎说中国是完美的;
没能力没条件的,例如我自己,就该干什么干什么,工作,功课,一刻也别耽误;

视窗操作系统并不比命令行操作系统更高效:一个鼠标所产生的指令远比十个手指头所能产生的指令少。当然只会用键盘来做文字处理的人除外。
命令行操作系统也是多任务,多线程,多用户的。除了DOS 7.0以下的版本。

PE文件就是win32下面的标准可执行文件。此文件的组成相当简单: 一个类似于目录结构的文件头,包含了执行代码的地址以及各种位图,数据的地址。而代码段就是赤裸裸的x86代码。每个代码段的长短都被磁盘单位严格限制了,所以代码段中有相当的空间可以作为寄生空间。
病毒
在PE的缝隙里头加入感染其他PE文件的代码并驻留内存,或者溢出其他程序拿到root的小程序。
win32
微软写的相当繁复的玩意。程序本身就是用c++生成一个窗口,包含了窗口内的各种元素。然后以每秒上千次的速度扫描键盘鼠标动作,来对这个窗口进行高频率的改写。如果窗口包含了动画,它也会自己进行高频率的自改写。由此能看出目前所有的视窗操作系统的原理都是大同小异的。
OpenGL
如上,唯一不通的是窗口创建的时候调用3D函数,在窗口内描绘三维空间并高速刷新。
32位汇编
简单的说,就是子程序的调用。把参数压到stack里头, 然后跳转到子程序的代码段,然后子程序完事后把stack归自己用的部分清空然后跳会主程序。说白了世界上所有的软件都不过是这个过程的反复。这样设计简单却造成了溢出代码的泛滥。
溢出代码
子程序调用的时候,给它一大串地址,把属于该子程序的stack填满,这样这个程序完事后会返回到这个地址给的地方里头。
网络7层协议
如果把局域网比喻成一个城市,电脑比喻成一个住宅单元,那么7层协议里,广州的李某家往北京的赵某家发一个包会是这样的: 【广州到北京(李某到赵某)】,就好像洋葱,外面一层剥掉后才能看到内面那层。7层不代表数据要包7次。实际上tcp/ip应该也只是包了两层地址信息而已。

首个零售无盘笔记本EEE PC要在加拿大首发华硕出品。没有硬盘,32位核心900Mhz的单核5瓦特U(如果我没理解错这里赛扬M的M不是笔记本的那个M的话),固态闪存。
笔记本和台式机不同。用笔记本的人始终重视的是续航,续航和续航,以及轻量性。
一般笔记本续航能力大概是2小时到三小时。这个东西我估计断网续航能有5小时+。就是说可以应付一天的课程笔记了。
PC EEE的设计看来是把握住了这两点,虽然要实体出来后才能确定。
199美金的价格。不过到加拿大后变成了289加币,shit~
有人说这个东西不过是加了键盘的psp。恩...psp还是双核心,64位的MIPS呢。不过这个低功耗U应该是乱序超线程的,出品年份也比psp的r4000迟了将近10年。
我的评价:女性机型。
我在野研--又一个交叉点花了一个暑假来野研。win32 api, 32位asm, NT OS, 溢出, 反汇编,病毒原理 ,网络7层,OPENGL都扫了一遍。
本来一直以来的梦想都是当游戏人,当然很小的时候也幻想过黑客。不过在看完溢出,病毒原理和asm后,却发现怎么也提不起兴趣来写一两个例子。倒是看了没多少的OPENGL就马上有想法要写些小游戏了。看来酷酷的低沿帽和笔记本黑客套装是和我没有缘分了~~。
可是野研游戏的道路我却知道绝对是很苦的。因为人家管这个叫做indenpendent game developer,独立制作人。没有dead line,没有职位,没上上司,很自由,很好玩,可是却没有钱。恰恰我现在最缺的,是钱。

搞安全来钱肯定快,随便在QQ上吹嘘下溢出都有一堆人问。可是又怕搞得自己兴趣索然。搞游戏我会很开心,却怕搞得家破人亡。不知道卡尔马克大神遇到这种情况会怎么样呢?

攻壳机动队3看了这个久仰大名的系列科幻后,发现日本人太有意思了:
这是个50年范围的科幻。完全基于现阶段科技对未来社会的推测 - 电脑化,就是之前美国某大学发明的用电脑芯片模拟脑神经网络并植入的科技,在这个世界中已经发展到完全取代自然大脑的水平。有了这种计算级别,A.I也全面实现了类人智能。
主线剧情是基于电子脑能被re program的假设下发生的:政府网络被一个叫做“傀儡回”的内部官员入侵后,发现很多孩童处于家庭暴力的情况,而社会又因为老年化和低生育率导致了整体结构上的崩溃。此官员乃一届愤青,加上Kevin Mitnick级的黑客技巧,所以当然就要见义勇为了~ 他首先通过临终老人监护网和老人达成领养和遗产继承协议,然后开始对发生虐童暴力的家庭父母实行批量挂马 -- 没错,就是现在很流行的批量挂马。被挂马的人会在意识正常的情况下不能控制身体地带领自己的孩子去医院进行电脑化手术,然后被电脑化的孩童再次被挂马,洗去关于父母的记忆并投奔领养自己的临终老人。这个计划的目的是把受虐儿童转移出来并继承老人的遗产,然后实行植入式教育来成为社会未来的精英栋梁~ 多么伟大的计划啊!我肯定是举起四肢赞同的~ 只可惜这个计划被美女主角和她的爪牙制止了...这结局无耻啊!!!
总体来说,这个科幻还挺硬的,小日本,不简单~! 发粪涂墙宣言本人低调王在此发屎:

Extreme Peer-to-Peer In 1543, Nicolas Copernicus forever changed the way we view the cosmos. He put the Sun at the center of things—not the Earth. Today, at the famed Palo Alto Research Center, Van Jacobson hopes to lead a similar revolution, one that forever changes the way we view PC networking. He aims to put the data at the center of things—not the server. Jacobson likes to tell a story about a video that NBC posted to the Web during the 2006 Winter Olympics. The video showed U.S. skier Bode Miller as he was famously disqualified during the Alpine combined event, and within seconds of its posting, there was severe congestion on the router downstream from NBC's servers. At that moment, the router held 6,000 copies of the same video. Six thousand people had made 6,000 individual TCP/IP connections to the same server, and the network had no way of knowing that most of those connections were redundant. It couldn't understand that the 6,000 videos were identical. It couldn't do anything to relieve the congestion.
The classic point-to-point networking model is fundamentally flawed. Today, if you want a piece of data from the network, you almost always need a direct connection to the data's original source—the server. That's true even if the data has already been downloaded to a device that's much closer. So often, tapping into a distant server wastes time. And if the server is unavailable, you're out of luck entirely.
With a project called Content-Centric Networking, or CCN, Jacobson and his team of PARC networking gurus are turning this model on its head. They're building a networking system that revolves around the data itself, a system in which a router can actually identify that Bode Miller video and act accordingly. Under the CCN model, you don't tell the network that you're interested in connecting to a server. You tell it that you want a particular piece of data. You broadcast a request to all the machines on the network, and if one of them has what you're looking for, it responds. "You can authenticate and validate information using the information itself—independent of whom you got it from," says Jacobson. "So if you want The New York Times, you can pick it up from any machine that has a copy." It's a bit like BitTorrent, but on a grander scale. CCN can improve everything from the public Internet to your private LAN. It can get you that Bode Miller video even if NBC's servers go down. But it's also an efficient means of keeping your calendar synchronized. You needn't set up three separate links between your PC, laptop, and a handheld. Each device simply broadcasts a request for calendar updates to all the others—wirelessly, say. Initially, Jacobson plans to roll out CCN on top of today's networking infrastructure—in much the same way BitTorrent was deployed across the existing Internet. But eventually, he wants to push these new ideas down to the Net's grass roots, to change in a fundamental way how machines speak to one another at the packet level. Yes, he's facing a mammoth task. 当你写一条程序,程序的运算效率是质量的最关键环节。而没有数学基础和基本的数学素养,你根本没可能推导出你所设计的程序的最优路线。同样的,硬件的设计,cpu的汇编,甚至内存/硬盘的分配等所有所有计算机有关的一切,无不归纳到它的本源--数学公式上去。
这个帖子是一看就知道是某CS达人写的,抄下来激励一下自己。
you have to realize, computer science and IT are very very different subjects. Computer Science is the science and technology behind the computer, IT is learning to work that technology and science. If you go into grad school with a CS degree and you don't understand advanced trig, calculus, or number theory, you're going to be in a lot of trouble. Concepts like RSA-encryption and data storage (at the more fundamental levels, not stuff like MySQL) are based on the "computer math" that CS majors have to learn. If you want to learn to be a code monkey, IT administrator, or low-level developer, a CS degree probably isn't designed to teach you that.
There's also the physical side of Computer Science, stuff like electrical engineering and the applied physics that goes with it. Here you're going to have to know even more calculus and mathematics (not to mention physics and some chemistry) to be able to do your job. Computer Science barely touches on setting up firewalls and administering linux domains. All that CS does is provide the technology to be able to create those tools, it's the IT side of everything that deals with using the tools. So be careful, if you're getting a CS degree, you are not learning about being a code monkey (if that's all you choose to do with your degree, that's your choice). You're learning about the science that makes the computer go. A good analogy is that of a car. Most mechanics can't tell you about the exact construction and function of each part of a car, but the engineer who designed it may not have the best knowledge (and I mean hands on knowledge) on how to install a new rear suspension or new transmission. Even if they were responsible for designing some of the parts and some of the components of that particular part of the car. In this case, the engineer is the computer scientist and the mechanic is the IT guy or the code monkey. A CS degree is made to prepare computer scientists, not IT people or code monkeys. Thus the university requirements are designed with CS people in mind, not the kinds of jobs you guys are describing. 网操作时代来临2 -- 两个新兵除了google和M$这两大巨头,网络操作系统还有其他的生力军。垄断是谁也不想看到的,而且巨头的作品不一定就是最好的。我这里刚试用了两个网操: eyeOS 1.0 和 youOS
1. eyeOS
首先,响应速度绝对可以接受。窗口移动,多任务切换能控制在5秒以内完成。
遗憾的是,应用软件太少了。尤其是多媒体应用软件,貌似目前没有。google有youtube来播放你的视频文件,msn也有msn video了。当然了,eyeOS是有浏览器的,可是作为用浏览器来进入的网操,谁没有呢?
不过eyeOS如其名, UI和macOS有得比,漂亮。而且人家是GPL的开源系统,说不定以后会有很多app了。
2. youOS
一进去的感觉是,天哪,界面太难看了,模仿的是....window 3.1的界面!
不过用起来后,发现比eyeOS效率高,而且UI的设计也很方便。虽然不漂亮,不过用来干活我还是perfer这个,速度和效率也是OS的关键啊。
而且界面漂亮与否根本不重要,一个theme就能让window 3.1变成 macOS了,而核心设计,效率和速度可不是一个插件能搞定的。
其他功能和eyeOS差不多,不过应用软件多一点,有chat, RSS feed reader, shell, IM,多媒体播放等等。如果说eyeOS是用来看的,那youOS就是用来用的。
总结: 上篇我说过个人电脑在网操时代的定位,恰好这两个新兵都可以下载并安装在个人电脑上。看来投资在公家服务器和投资在自家服务器的区别暂时还不明显,不过我相信公共服务器的升级速度和水平怎么也不是个人的资金和能力能相比的,所以我还是看好公共服务器的网络操作系统。 沧海桑田...一日之内我不知道今天是什么日子,不过世界变化得越来越快,一日之内,原来可以有甘多变化:
1. google street view
这个东西我第一次用的时候感觉用来研究旅游路线不错。然后仔细想想,它可能发挥用处的地方太多了,不过首先想到是:
机器人自动寻路的实现. 用Simultaneous localization and mapping系统SLAM一次street view,把街道各个主要标志物都定位了,然后GPS加地图导航, 目前的计算机科技绝对可以做出可以自动在城市从A点跑到B点的机器人。这种机器人最大的用途我相信是机械警察: 目前美军的机械警察是通过GPS+无线视频来人为控制的,想像一下FPS游戏,对,没错,就是1对1的控制。如果需要出动10个这种机器人,就需要十个人来控制。 那自动寻址的机器人呢?哪是另外一回事了,RTS。呵呵,一个人就可以控制上百个此类警察了(假如是slayer boxer,上千个)。 控制他们所需要做的,和打星际差不多: 选5个机器人,assign为1队,点到案发现场北边,选10个,2队,点到南边,选3个,空投到楼顶,等机器人自己跑到位后,控制员给出目标的坐标,然后按下开火...匪徒立马变马蜂窝。是否就是星际?呵呵~ 以后抢银行不要去美国,否则当你突然发现身边出现5个红点然后发出"nuclear detected"的声音后,不要吓得太惨哦 :P

2. 微软的surface
"你拍1,我拍1,小霸王出了学习机;你拍2,我拍2,微软出了surface..."
虽然我觉得一个40英寸的多点触摸屏和一个PC不值1万美金,不过运行这套硬件的那套MS开发了5年的软件是值这个钱的。当然了,MS想维持这个价位,首先要防止的是linux--要是哪天linux也弄了个ubunturface 来并且免费发放的话,MS的surface就得降价到......1000USD。为什么?因为有组装机......
这个东西的作用,倒是挺大的:
作图,CAD,游戏... 就是PC能干的他都能,不过都能比PC干的更好。
Do you love what you are doingWell, people work hard for one thing: compare to each other, or compete to each other. And I believe these questions are what 80% of people will think of in their head everyday:
1. how many money I earn compare to others?
2. how good my career makes me look?
3. how is my lifestyle compare to others?
and if the answers to these questions are bad, jealous will torture you and makes you keep going until you reach a point that you are full loaded.
so, career, lifestyle, money, and repeat. It's like a for loop of (int i = 0; 1==1; i++) that running in your head day by day, month by month and go on and on... extract every little computing power of the brain and keep you going like a lighting fast car when you r still young and healthy, until ages make something borken and you find out it's too late.
I figure this happened because people forgot to ask themselves one simple question: "Do I honestly love what I am doing?". I mean "honestly", coz most of the time when we think "do I like my job?", we'd say "hell yea, my job gives me good money!" or "well, i need a good looking job to get myself a hot chick(you can fill anything here tho: car, house, ps3 etc)."...
I, for one, is in this situation too. I work for the money, I work for the lifestyle I perfer, I work to give my career a better looking such as a university degree. But I realized I never worked for the job I wanna do, not even once in my life. I have no passion of every job I am doing, and I have no expectation of my job except "money, career, lifestyle...". I don't know how could I get out of this. Family, money, social life and all these thing are depended on what I do, if I wanted to quit everything that I don't enjoy doing, I put all them on risk. It takes great courage to quit.
Is this called "the sad of life"?
